Drake, My Music Crush ♥

A good Rapper in my eyes = a powerful Poet......Male Poet with a nice flow and beautifully mellow singing voice = Alluring. His Cuteness is a plus! Another plus is the fact that he was a cute little awkward kid from Canada on Degrassi ( a show that my sisters and I were hooked on :) So Acting along with Rapping & Singing makes him a a triple threat.
Now he is pretty HAWT!! and I'm happy for him. Ever since my sister introduced me to his song "Replacement Girl" a couple years ago I have been infatuated. He's just "Talented" and I can appreciate that quality in a up and coming artist. My only hope is that he remains true to himself through his music industry journey, because too often the public builds people up to tear them down :(... Anyway... He's definitely my Music Crush at the moment, so it looks like I'll be joining the masses on this one. Drake is cool
Besides...A crush here and there is always healthy!

Does He Make You Happy?

Your Boyfriend, My Boyfriend, Our Boyfriends...
Doesn't he make you feel like the best thing in the world?
I'm sure you will agree that it's one of the greatest feelings to know that you and this person are growing together making each other Better each step of the way. His sweet words when you need to hear them most reminds you of what true Love is all about. Sometimes you are shocked at the sweet and meaningful things he says and does all because he cares about you so much that your happiness is a priority to him. The great far surpasses the "not so great" and each past mistake was left in the past as a stronger and better Love continually emerges. He never purposely hurts you but protects you from hurt and everything associated with it. He's a great guy, a wonderful boyfriend, and an Amazing future husband........I pray Every Young Woman in the World Experiences This and allows it to BE HER REALITY.
I AM.......and Its a Blessing! The same Blessing available to Us All.
Don't Settle! Have Faith! and Live YOUR LIFE HAPPY.
Peace & Healthy Kisses! Nikki♥

Hard Work Doesn't ALWAYZ PAY off

As you work hard to accomplish everything you possibly can at your job, You will realize that verbal rewards are far more to come by than cash rewards, lol.
It's crazy how the majority of people I know have this issue. But DON'T FRET. Hard Work Doesn't Always PAY off..........right away :)

Remember those two words "Right Away". As with almost anything, it takes time to build the stairway to your financial goal. Working hard is just that......It's building upwards, step by step to whatever goal your trying to accomplish.
I'm now 26 and I want to make 6 figures :). Is this happening? NO. Will it one day? I will continue to work hard, have Faith, be assertive, never settle too long at one set salary, and stay optimistic; as long as I'm doing this, I will definitely reach great heights....SO YES, It Will Happen One Day.
Peace, Nikki

How To Look Good without MAKE-UP

Make-Up Free Yourself
Practice Excellent skin care
If you're going to forgo makeup, you need to take the best care of your skin possible. Twice a day cleansing with a mild cleanser followed up by a moisturizer cream designed specifically for your skin type is a good start. Follow your skin care regimen religiously to keep your skin in top shape if you plan on going without makeup.
Exfoliate your skin
This is one of the best kept secrets for beautiful skin. In the morning before you go out the door, use a facial exfoliating pad and a gentle cleanser to massage your face in circular motions for at least one minute. This will remove dead skin cells and increase circulation to your face, giving your skin a soft glow that's even better than blush. (I used crushed uncoated aspirin in my mild cleanser 1-2 times a week, works beautifully.)
Get plenty of rest
If you're going to go natural, it's important that you sleep seven to eight hours a night. Tired skin looks sallow and any bags or dark circles you have under your eyes will be enhanced. If you don't get enough sleep and your eyes look puffy and swollen from tossing and turning, try applying an ice pack to each eye for ten minutes to reduce some of the swelling.
Drinks lots of water
Your skin looks best when you're well hydrated. Drink at least 64oz of water per day to maintain skin hydration. Avoid drinking alcohol or caffeine which acts as a diuretic to further dehydrate your skin.
Keep your eyebrows and eyelashes well groomed!!
If you won't be wearing eye makeup, make sure your brows are neatly groomed with no distracting stray hairs. Use a clean eyelash brush to open up and emphasize your eyes.
Keep your lips moisturized!
If you won't be wearing lip color, apply a moisturizer to your lips to keep them soft and smooth. A touch of clear lip gloss can also give you lips and face a natural glow.

Wear a sunscreen
Just because you're not wearing makeup doesn't mean you should forgo sunscreen. Many makeups have light sunscreens which offer some protection from the elements. If you're going natural, be sure to apply a sunscreen with a SPF of at least 20 to give your skin the protection it needs from ultraviolet rays. Choose a sunscreen that protects against both UVA and UVB rays.
Yes, you can look pretty without makeup if you practice good skin care and life style habits on a daily basis. You may actually find that natural works better for you on a daily basis. While makeup can be reserved for special outings. Give it a try!

That one day you may get betrayed by someone you cared about and its going to hurt, but you will become stronger and better because of it.

That one day your going to really miss someone that's no longer in your life, so appreciate the great times now.

That one day people are going to talk bad about you, so learn not to care. Their words will fade, your strength and integrity will not.

Your going to embarrass yourself so badly that you have to laugh about it, again, learn not to care! Embarrassing moments happen to everyone.

You will be unprepared, but life goes on...Learn and prepare for the future.

One day you will get your heart broken. Mend it by seeking happiness in good things and good people.

You'll grow apart from some old friends and make new great ones.

You'll make mistakes! Its okay, no one is perfect. Just admit your faults and become a better person because of them.

You'll fall in Love, you'll laugh, you'll cry.

Then one day you'll look back on your life....
Wiser, Stronger, and Happier, with everything you've gone through, being the reason why :)
Now You Know........

Must Relieve This Menstrual Pain, Before It Drives Me Insane! ....Nikki :)
Below are some GREAT ways to lessen the effects of cramps and PMS (pretty-mad-sista)

Reduce your consumption of salt, sugar and caffeine during the week before your period to prevent cramps or reduce their severity.
Increase your intake of calcium-rich foods such as milk, yogurt or leafy green vegetables.
Keep in mind that a high-potency B-complex vitamin may help if you're susceptible to menstrual cramps. Vitamin B 6 is especially important, but don't take more than 100mg per day.
Apply heat to your muscles when cramps occur. Take a hot bath or place a hot water bottle on your abdomen or lower back.
Get moving. Sitting or lying around may actually make you feel worse. Swimming and walking are good activities because they are gentle and not too stressful. Certain stretches and yoga positions will also help to relieve the pain.

Avoid standing for long periods if you have pain in your lower back.
Massage your lower back to relieve tension and pain.
Take ibuprofen or naproxen to help relieve cramps.
Take a break, breathe deeply and listen to soothing music.

Its an overwhelming amount of evil people in the world; But I'm not talking about the big bad evil ones who issues are clear for the world to see; They are nothing compared to the ones that smile in your face and try to befriend you on the daily basis. This applies to faux friends, co-workers, and in sad but rare cases Family members. I just had a rude awakening as I sat at a work meeting listening to a group of people tear down, be-little, and ruin the reputation of a person I have never met. I was the only odd ball because every now and then I blurt out "well is he really that bad?" and "Is he a mean person or something?"......I could tell that my "nice-ness" was possibly annoying others but I could care less. I was annoyed because NO ONE is perfect.
On the other hand, everyone talks about someone at one point or another, but that doesn't make it completely right. There is a fine line between evil co-hearted Gossip and a discussion of truthful facts. I'm only posting this to inform my readers to "Watch your Backs".....Don't put your business out there because "evil people" pounce on it and use it as ammunition to taint your reputation. People will talk bad about you regardless but live your life in a way that no one will believe it!
